Procter & Gamble has called Lima home since 1968, and they’re not going anywhere. In fact, they’re growing.
P&G is investing approximately $501 million at its Lima facility to construct a new manufacturing plant producing Gain and Downy Unstopable Laundry Scent Beads, along with additional warehousing space. When complete, the Lima plant will be the only P&G facility in the world producing this product line.
The expansion is expected to create 135 new jobs and generate significant new payroll for the region. To support the increased activity, a $3 million roundabout infrastructure project was approved through a cooperative agreement between the Port Authority of Allen County, P&G, and Allen County.
Key Highlights:
- $501M total investment
- 135 new jobs created
