Allen County is welcoming a major new chapter in economic development. A large-scale data center project, known as Project BOSC, is advancing in American Township following years of planning, permitting, and partnership between AEDG, the City of Lima, and local utilities.
The project includes a $13.7 million commitment to water infrastructure improvements as part of a 20-year agreement with the City of Lima, a significant public-private investment that benefits the broader region well beyond the project itself.
Data centers represent a growing sector of the American economy, and Allen County’s infrastructure, location, and collaborative approach to development made it a competitive choice.
