AEDG Hires Dr. Tim Fitzpatrick as New Business and Regional Workforce Development Lead

Dr. Fitzpatrick brings experience and a proven track record in workforce strategy and community collaboration to the AEDG team.

In his new role, Dr. Fitzpatrick will focus on strengthening business relationships, supporting workforce initiatives, and driving county economic development. His skills will help bridge the gap between employers and skilled talent while fostering sustainable business growth in Allen County and the surrounding region.

Dr. Fitzpatrick’s Leadership Experience and Community-Driven Solutions

Before joining AEDG, Dr. Fitzpatrick held leadership roles in education, where he led strategic initiatives to prepare students and teaching faculty to enhance regional talent pipelines and support local businesses. His commitment to community-driven solutions aligns with AEDG’s vision of fostering a vibrant economic environment.

Dr. Fitzpatrick holds an undergraduate degree in education (social studies) from Capital University, a master’s degree in education (curriculum & administration), and a doctoral degree in leadership studies from Bowling Green State University. He has over 25 years of experience in educational roles across various communities and has served as a teacher, principal, and college dean.

Dr. Fitzpatrick resides with his wife and has two adult children. He looks forward to building connections through strategies that support business-to-business, business-to-workforce, and business-to-community relations in his role at AEDG.
