For those unfamiliar, TechCred is an Ohio state program that helps Ohioans learn new skills and helps employers build a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a technology-infused economy. The program offers technology-focused credentials that take a year or less to complete, preparing current and future employees for the technology jobs Ohio employers need.

AI Credentials Lead the Way

One clear trend driving participation is the rapid emergence of AI-related credentials, as companies work to ensure their employees and teams remain competitive in a quickly evolving technological landscape. While the details for the next application round have not yet been finalized, TechCred continues to meet the needs of modern industry. Workforce partners are already preparing to ensure companies remain well-positioned to take advantage of the opportunity once the next round opens.
